TRAINING

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING / CERTIFICATION AT JONNYS OILFIELD HAULING

 

At Jonnys Oilfield Hauling, safety and preparedness come first. All field workers are required to have mandatory certifications before their first work assignment. Our comprehensive training program includes general hazard assessment training, supplemented by customer-specific orientations, both online and on-site.

In addition, workers benefit from hands-on learning through daily tailgate meetings, group discussions, and mentorship from experienced team members in the field.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:

  • H2S Alive – Mandatory for all field workers before dispatch to any client site.

  • Standard First Aid – Required to ensure workers are prepared to respond to emergencies.

  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) – A core safety requirement for all workers.

  • WHMIS 2015 (CCOHS) – Completed through the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety to ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.

DRIVER-SPECIFIC TRAINING:

All drivers must successfully complete the following in-house training sessions:

  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)

  • Canadian Hours of Service Program (Log Book Training)

  • Cargo Securement

  • Daily Pre-Trip Inspection

  • Weights & Dimensions

ADDITIONAL TRAINING / CERTIFICATION:

  • Journeyman Crane and Hoisting Equipment Operator (Boom Truck) – For specialized equipment operation.

APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM:

Jonnys is proud to offer apprenticeship programs for Boom Truck Operators and Mechanics, giving participants the opportunity to gain real-world, hands-on training and field experience. This program helps develop skilled professionals ready to succeed in the oilfield and industrial hauling industry.
